Founded on the 29th August 1985, TRISTAR, is an established outgoing travel agency with a sound working relationship with major airlines operating from Malta including Air Malta, Lufthansa, British Airways, Alitalia, Emirates, Air France , KLM, Egypt Air, Air Canada, and Olympic. Apart from flight reservations, the Agency caters for Hotel Accommodation, Car Hire & Travel Insurance. Tristar are also licensed by Malta Financial Services Authority to offer travel insurance as an agent for Middle Sea insurance.

Furthermore, Tristar Travel work with all major car hire companies such as Avis, Alamo, Budget, National, Sixth and Hertz. The Company is connected to CRS (computer reservation systems) namely Amadeus and Worldspan. Accommodation is mainly done through GTA, Hotel Beds and Trinatours, the major hotel reservation agents.

Tristar Travel clients travel mostly to Europe, Asia, Middle East and Australia. The business is 65 % corporate and 35 % vacations.

Tristar Travel Limited has more than doubled its turnover over the past 4 years.

Mark Anastasi Jnr. is the Director of the Company.


Customer satisfaction, in terms of service and pricing are one of the company’s main strategies. Tristar Travel prides itself with expertly trained personell and a dedicated team of professionals where quality standards are continuously being monitored and updated.

We also offer to corporate clients an ‘urgent situation’ hotline number where one of our staff is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week should the need arise.

Our offices are situated in Msida, a central location just 10 minutes away from the capital Valletta and Grand Harbour where cruiseliner ferries load and embark from.
